On May 28, we met for the MaLiS CLub at the Alte Sternwarte on Campus Poppelsdorf.
Bartosz Prokop from the Laboratory of Dynamics in Biological Systems at the KU Leuven spoke about "Data-driven discovery of dynamical models in biology", and David Köhler from the IMBIE at the University Hospital Bonn about "Breaking down black-box models into explainable effects using functional decomposition"
As usual, the talks were followed by some lively discussions, which were continued during the coffee break.
