On May 23, the Mathematical Life Sciences (MaLiS) Club took place at in the beautiful historical location "Lipschitz-Saal" at the Center for Mathematics in Bonn-Poppelsdorf.

We enjoyed the talks of Amandine Véber from MAP5 - Université Paris Cité and Carolin Schneider from University Hospital RWTH Aachen.

Amandine Véber talked about "Stochastic models for the growth of filamentous fungi" and Carolin Schneider about "Using big data for prevention of metabolic (liver) disease".
